B1 Level – Intermediate

At B1 level, you will become more confident in everyday communication and learn how to express yourself in a wider range of situations. You will practise talking about your experiences, plans, interests, habits and opinions in more detail.

You will also work on understanding the main points of conversations, short articles and everyday texts. In addition, you will expand your vocabulary and become more comfortable using different verb tenses and sentence structures.

At this level, you should gradually be able to manage common situations when travelling, living or communicating in Greece. You will practise asking for information, explaining what you need and responding more naturally in conversations.

Grammar continues to play an important role. However, it is always connected to practical communication. This means you will use new structures in speaking, writing, listening and reading activities instead of learning rules in isolation.

B2 Level – Upper Intermediate

At B2 level, you will work towards expressing yourself more clearly, accurately and naturally in Greek. You will learn how to discuss a wider range of topics and explain your ideas, opinions and experiences in greater detail.

You will also practise understanding longer conversations, articles and more complex texts. As your vocabulary develops, you will be able to follow discussions on familiar and less familiar topics with greater ease.

At this stage, lessons focus more strongly on fluency, accuracy and natural communication. You will continue improving your grammar while also learning more advanced vocabulary, expressions and sentence structures.

Listening practice becomes increasingly important at B2 level. Therefore, you will work with more natural spoken Greek and different types of communication. This will help you feel more comfortable when speaking with native Greek speakers.

By the end of this level, you should be able to participate in longer conversations, explain advantages and disadvantages, express your point of view and communicate more independently in Greek.
