As the founder and tutor, my vision is to create an educational sanctuary where language mastery is not just a skill but a passport to a world of opportunities. We understand that effective communication is the cornerstone of success, and our commitment is to empower you with the tools and confidence needed to navigate the global landscape with finesse.
My name is Dora Papaemmanouil and I was born in Greece. My passion about Greek language and culture was the reason to create this website, where students from all over the world would be able to learn Greek online in real time. I am a teacher with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in teaching Greek as a second / foreign language. I have been teaching the Greek language in kids and adults since 2016.

Meet Ioanna
I’m Ioanna and I live in Thessaloniki.
I’ve always been passionate about languages, and ever since I was in school, I could see myself becoming a Greek language teacher — and that’s exactly what happened! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Greek Philology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a Master’s degree in Teaching Greek as a Second/Foreign Language from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Since 2017, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students of all ages, both children and adults, from all over the world and in various teaching settings. I couldn’t imagine a more fulfilling journey than the one I have experienced through interacting with each learner over the years. Teaching has also kept me a lifelong student myself, and I’m excited to continue sharing, learning, and growing through this beautiful journey of Greek language and culture.
I’m happy to be part of the Time for Greek team — a community that brings together dedicated tutors and motivated learners. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals in Greek!
