Greek literature (Kids B)

This class packet is designed for young learners who already have some basic knowledge of Greek and are ready to dive deeper into the language. Through engaging stories, poems, and interactive activities, kids will expand their vocabulary and language skills while exploring more advanced aspects of Greek literature and culture.

What’s Included:

• Language Growth: Each lesson builds on the basic Greek language skills kids have already learned, focusing on expanding vocabulary, improving sentence structures, and introducing new grammatical concepts. The emphasis is on reading comprehension, speaking, and listening skills.
• Exciting Greek Stories and Poems: Children will read age-appropriate stories, fables, and poems from well-known Greek authors, such as Antonis Samarakis and Alki Zei. These texts are selected to challenge students while being fun and relatable, offering stories filled with adventure, friendship, and moral lessons.
• Cultural Exploration: In addition to reading, kids will explore Greek culture, mythology, and history through stories. They’ll learn about famous myths like Theseus and the Minotaur, and discover important aspects of Greece’s rich heritage, like traditional festivals and customs.
• Interactive Discussions and Activities: Every class features discussions about the stories, encouraging kids to share their thoughts and ideas in Greek. There will also be creative activities like drawing scenes from the stories, acting out characters, and creating their own short stories based on what they’ve learned.
