Greek for Adults A

Our Online Greek Lessons for Adults A1–A2 are ideal for beginners and elementary-level learners. You will build a strong foundation in Greek and start communicating with confidence from the very beginning.

At Time for Greek, all lessons are taught by native Greek-speaking, certified educators. Each lesson is adapted to your level, pace, goals and interests. Therefore, you can focus on the areas that matter most to you.

You may be learning Greek for travel, family, work or everyday communication. You may also simply love the Greek language and culture. In every case, your lessons are personalised around your needs.

What will you learn?

Our lessons combine speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar. This helps you develop all the main language skills step by step.

At A1–A2 level, you will learn how to:

• introduce yourself and talk about your daily life
• speak about family, work, food and travel
• handle simple everyday situations in Greek
• ask and answer common questions
• use basic verb tenses correctly
• build simple and natural sentences
• improve your pronunciation and listening skills
• understand the basic structure of the Greek language

In addition, you will practise useful vocabulary and expressions from real-life situations. Grammar is also an important part of the course. However, we always connect it with practical communication.

Our goal is simple: Speak Greek from Day 1.

Personalised online Greek lessons

Each private lesson lasts approximately 55 minutes and takes place online. This means you can learn Greek from anywhere in the world.

Your teacher will provide suitable materials and activities based on your progress. When needed, explanations can be given in both Greek and English.

You do not have to follow exactly the same programme as every other student. For example, you may need more conversation practice, grammar, pronunciation or revision. In that case, your teacher can adjust the lesson accordingly.
