Online Group Greek Lessons – A1–A2

Our Online Group Greek Lessons A1–A2 are ideal for learners who want to study Greek in a friendly, interactive and supportive group environment.

Group lessons give you the opportunity to learn with other students at a similar level while still receiving guidance from a certified Greek teacher.

At Time for Greek, our online group Greek lessons are taught by native Greek-speaking, certified educators. Lessons focus on communication, grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading and writing.

A1 Level – Beginner

At A1 level, you will begin building a strong foundation in Greek.

You will learn basic vocabulary, useful everyday expressions and the main structures you need for simple communication.

During the lessons, you will practise how to:

• introduce yourself
• talk about family, work and daily routines
• ask and answer simple questions
• use basic Greek vocabulary
• understand common everyday expressions
• build simple sentences
• improve pronunciation
• use essential grammar structures

Our online group Greek classes include speaking activities, short dialogues and interactive exercises.

Learning in a group also gives you more opportunities to listen to other learners and practise real conversations.

Grammar is introduced gradually and always connected to practical communication. This helps you understand how the language works while using it from the beginning.

By the end of A1 level, you should be able to communicate in simple everyday situations and understand basic spoken and written Greek.

A2 Level – Elementary

At A2 level, you will continue developing your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

You will learn how to talk about familiar topics in more detail and become more independent in everyday communication.

Topics may include travel, shopping, food, family, work, free time and life in Greece.

You will also practise common verb tenses, pronouns, adjectives and useful sentence structures.

Because the lessons take place in an online group setting, you will have regular opportunities to practise conversations with both your teacher and other students.

Group discussions, role plays and collaborative activities help make the lessons more interactive and practical.

Listening exercises become more important at this level. You will practise understanding longer conversations and more natural spoken Greek.

By the end of A2 level, you should be able to communicate more confidently in familiar situations and understand simple conversations and texts.
