C1 Level – Advanced
At C1 level, you and your learning partner will develop a more advanced and natural command of Greek through online semi-private Greek lessons.
You will practise expressing complex ideas clearly, discussing a wide range of topics and understanding more demanding spoken and written Greek.
Our online Greek lessons include speaking, listening, reading, writing, advanced vocabulary and grammar. The aim is to help both students communicate with greater fluency, accuracy and confidence.
You will work on topics such as society, culture, education, work, travel, current affairs and everyday life. These themes allow you to practise Greek in more realistic and challenging situations.
Vocabulary becomes more advanced at this level. You will learn useful expressions, collocations and more precise ways to communicate your ideas.
Grammar also remains an important part of our online semi-private classes. You will practise more complex structures, advanced verb forms and different ways of connecting ideas.
Because you are learning together online, you will have many opportunities to exchange opinions and participate in discussions. You can also practise role plays, presentations and collaborative activities with your learning partner.
Your teacher will provide personalised correction and feedback during each online lesson. This means that both students can work on individual difficulties while still following a shared learning plan.
Listening activities may include interviews, longer conversations and authentic spoken Greek. You will also work with more demanding texts and learn how to identify both main ideas and important details.
By the end of C1 level, you should be able to communicate fluently in many professional, social and everyday situations and express your ideas with greater precision.
C2 Level – Proficiency
At C2 level, our online semi-private Greek lessons focus on helping you use Greek with a very high level of fluency, accuracy and flexibility.
You and your learning partner will practise understanding complex texts, authentic conversations and advanced spoken Greek. You will also learn how to recognise subtle differences in meaning, tone and style.
Speaking becomes more sophisticated at this stage. During your online Greek classes, you will take part in longer discussions, explain complex ideas, defend opinions and respond more naturally in conversation.
Advanced vocabulary and idiomatic expressions are also an important part of C2 lessons. You will learn how native Greek speakers choose different words and structures depending on the situation.
Grammar work focuses on accuracy and natural language use. You will practise advanced sentence structures and refine areas that may still cause difficulty.
Reading and writing activities may include articles, literature, cultural topics and structured texts. You will also practise summarising information, comparing different viewpoints and presenting arguments clearly.
One of the advantages of online semi-private Greek lessons is the opportunity to communicate regularly with another advanced learner. You can challenge each other, exchange opinions and practise more spontaneous conversation while still receiving personalised guidance from your teacher.
Each semi-private lesson lasts approximately 55 minutes and takes place online. This allows you and your learning partner to study Greek together even if you are not in the same location.
At C2 level, the aim is not simply to understand Greek. The goal is to use the language naturally, precisely and confidently in demanding academic, professional, social and everyday situations.
By the end of this level, you should be able to communicate independently and understand Greek at a very advanced level.
