Semi Private Level Α

A1 Level – Beginner

At A1 level, you and your learning partner will start building a strong foundation in Greek. You will learn the Greek alphabet, basic vocabulary and useful everyday expressions from the very first lessons.

You will practise how to introduce yourselves, ask and answer simple questions and talk about familiar topics such as family, work, hobbies and daily routines.

You will also begin to understand the basic structure of Greek and use simple grammar in real communication. Lessons include speaking, listening, reading and writing activities so that both students can develop their skills step by step.

Because you are learning together, you will have more opportunities to practise dialogues, role plays and short conversations during the lesson. This makes semi-private lessons more interactive and gives both students extra speaking practice.

You will work on useful topics such as numbers, time, food, shopping, directions, everyday activities and simple travel situations. Vocabulary and grammar are introduced gradually so that you can start using what you learn immediately.

Pronunciation is also an important part of the course. Your teacher will help you become familiar with Greek sounds and improve your confidence when speaking.

By the end of A1 level, you should be able to understand and use common everyday expressions, give basic personal information and communicate in simple situations.

Our goal is to help you feel comfortable with Greek from the very beginning and, most importantly, to Speak Greek from Day 1.

A2 Level – Elementary

At A2 level, you and your learning partner will continue developing your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills through practical communication and shared activities.

You will learn how to describe people and places, talk about daily routines, past experiences and future plans, and deal with familiar everyday situations.

Topics may include travelling, shopping, ordering food, asking for information, giving directions and talking about family, work and free time.

Grammar becomes slightly more advanced at this level. You will practise common verb tenses, pronouns, adjectives and useful sentence structures. However, grammar will always be connected to real-life communication.

You will also work with longer conversations and simple texts. This will help you understand more natural Greek and expand your vocabulary.

Semi-private lessons give you the opportunity to practise with each other as well as with your teacher. You can take part in dialogues, interactive activities and conversations based on real-life situations.

As you progress, you will learn how to express yourself in more detail and respond more naturally. Your teacher can also adapt the lesson according to the areas where you both need more practice.

By the end of A2 level, you should be able to communicate more independently in familiar situations, understand simple conversations and texts, and express your ideas with greater confidence.
