B1 Level – Intermediate
At B1 level, you and your learning partner will become more confident and independent when using Greek in everyday situations through online semi-private Greek lessons.
You will practise talking about experiences, plans, interests and opinions in greater detail. You will also learn how to describe events, explain simple ideas and participate in longer conversations.
Our online Greek lessons include speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar. You will work with a wider range of vocabulary and gradually learn how to use more complex sentence structures.
Topics may include work, travel, relationships, health, everyday life, culture and social situations. These topics give you the opportunity to practise Greek in realistic and useful contexts.
Grammar remains an important part of the course. You will revise and develop different verb tenses, pronouns, connectors and other structures that help you communicate more accurately.
Because you are learning together, online semi-private lessons offer additional opportunities for conversation. You can practise dialogues, role plays, discussions and collaborative activities with your learning partner.
Your teacher will also provide individual correction and feedback during each online class. This means that both students can work on their own difficulties while still following a shared learning plan.
Listening skills become increasingly important at B1 level. Therefore, you will practise understanding longer conversations and more natural spoken Greek.
By the end of B1 level, you should be able to handle many everyday situations independently, express your opinions and communicate with greater confidence in Greek.
B2 Level – Upper Intermediate
At B2 level, you and your learning partner will work towards greater fluency, accuracy and natural communication through personalised online Greek lessons.
You will practise discussing a wider range of topics and explaining your ideas in more detail. You will also learn how to compare different viewpoints, give reasons for your opinions and participate in longer discussions.
Vocabulary becomes richer at this stage. You will work with more advanced expressions related to society, culture, travel, technology, work and everyday life.
Grammar also becomes more complex. You will practise advanced sentence structures and focus on using Greek more accurately when speaking and writing.
Our online semi-private Greek classes also include listening activities with longer dialogues, interviews and more natural spoken Greek. This helps you become more comfortable when communicating with native Greek speakers.
Reading and writing skills also develop further. You may work with articles, short texts and structured writing activities based on topics that interest both students.
One of the advantages of learning Greek online in a semi-private format is the opportunity to interact with another learner while still receiving personalised support. You can practise discussions, exchange opinions and complete activities together with guidance from your teacher.
At the same time, your online Greek lessons remain flexible and personalised. If you both need extra work on grammar, conversation, pronunciation or vocabulary, the lesson can be adapted accordingly.
Each semi-private lesson lasts approximately 55 minutes and takes place online, so you can learn Greek together from wherever you are.
By the end of B2 level, you should be able to communicate more spontaneously, understand the main ideas of more complex conversations and texts, and express yourself with greater detail and confidence.
